Nestled in Alaska’s stunning mountain range with lakes nearby, SeaView is a charitable behavioral health organization that has been providing quality addiction services in Eastern Kenai Peninsula since 1972. They employ over 50 professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and case managers, who provide a range of treatments: short and long-term mental health residential care, intensive outpatient (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), and sober living. For those who have had DWI or other alcohol-related misdemeanors, SeaView provides an alcohol safety action program. The Day Treatment and IOP both run 5 and 3 days a week respectively, from 8am-2pm and 6pm-9pm, and involve a variety of therapies, addiction models, and medications to help clients return to their daily lives. Furthermore, SeaView’s recovery housing residence offers up to 10 gender-specific apartments that are free from alcohol and drugs. They offer support and connect clients to permanent housing, employment, and long-term assistance.
