Clients receive a full bio-psycho-social assessment upon admission and can keep their cell phones and computers during their stay. The length of stay varies, ranging from 3-7 days depending on the substance being detoxed from. The staff consists of healthcare professionals with experience in critical care, such as ICU experience, to respond to any emergencies. Substance abuse counselors are also available to help clients plan aftercare. Evidence-based therapy, massage therapy, animal therapy, and medication-assisted therapies are used to begin the recovery process. Gallus Detox Center is accredited by the Joint Commission and works with most major insurances. Located in a comfortable and quiet suburban home, clients have a private room with a comfortable bed, HDTV, and WiFi access. High-end restaurants cater meals to complete the home-like atmosphere.
