About Camino a Casa

Since 1994, Camino a Casa has provided specialized services to children and young people in the foster care and educational systems, and now offers a recovery program designed to treat adolescents aged 9-17 who struggle with behavioral concerns, self-harm, depression, and trauma. This residential program typically lasts 30-90 days and consists of mental health services led by master- and/or doctoral-level clinicians and psychiatrists, along with 24-hour monitoring with an average youth-to-caregiver ratio of 1:4. Additionally, the program includes academic support, group therapy, recreational therapy, expressive arts therapy, and family therapy sessions featuring specialist groups and enjoyable activities. The Camino A Casa campus is situated on 25 acres in Camarillo, California, and features 7 residential units, 10 on-site classrooms, fitness centers, music rooms, swimming pools, playing fields, and plenty of hiking areas.
