Ascend Healthcare is an accredited residential treatment center in Encino, California, providing 45-90 days of evidence-based and experiential therapies to teens aged 12-17 struggling with addiction and mental health issues. Utilizing the Matrix Model, Ascend focuses on individual therapy, early recovery, relapse prevention, family education, social support, and testing. Clients benefit from a minimum of two private therapy sessions and one family session per week with a licensed therapist, as well as a session with the Ascend psychiatrist. The program also offers a range of experiential therapies including art therapy, equine therapy, gardening, hiking, music therapy, yoga, and surf therapy. Through their unique clinical approach, Ascend Healthcare empowers clients to take ownership of their healing journey and engage in healthy practices. To ensure a comfortable environment, the facility provides home-like accommodations with dedicated, 24/7 staff, a private chef, basketball court, pool, classrooms with computer stations, and a garden for peace and quiet.
