For over 25 years, Center for Discovery has been helping individuals with eating disorders. The Granite Bay branch was established in 2016 on a rural property to provide its clients with a peaceful environment. The residential program serves female and non-binary clients aged 16-26 who have primary eating disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. Therapeutic strategies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure & response prevention (ERP), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and yoga are used to assist clients in their recovery. Furthermore, joyful movement is given a place in the treatment plans to offer clients recreational activities and yoga. The have access to outdoor spaces, a pool, a putting green, and a horse barn on-site.
