At Hower Lodge, individuals suffering from substance use disorder and co-occurring health conditions have access to a wide range of therapeutic resources to support their recovery. Situated in the peaceful forest just minutes from Lake Arrowhead in California, this quaint and intimate 3,200 square foot rehabilitation center provides luxury accommodations and delicious meals prepared by a chef. During detox, clients have semi-private rooms and medical care, and afterwards they can work with a certified addiction counselor and licensed therapist to design a personalized treatment plan. The center’s approach to recovery is comprehensive, providing a combination of 12-Step, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), strengths-based theory, and integrative therapy. In addition to the evidence-based programs, Hower Lodge also offers adventure activities like hiking, camping, kayaking, fishing, yoga, and equine therapy to motivate clients to stay positive and engaged. All services are overseen by the Joint Commission and accepted by most private insurance providers.
