About Design for Change

Design for Change provides a comprehensive continuum of care that includes medical detoxification, gender-specific residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient programming. Their individualized therapy combines the 12-Steps, evidence-based approaches, and a holistic approach that focuses on both the mind and the body. Clients can expect to participate in individual counseling, group therapy, 12-Step and optional non 12-Step programs, art and music therapy, nutritional counseling, acupuncture, and physical fitness activities. The center also has a First Responders Program to address the specific needs of individuals in this career path. Located near Los Angeles, yet distant enough from potential triggers, the gender-specific facilities offer a comfortable home-like atmosphere with upscale furnishings, semi-private bedrooms, and numerous amenities like a workout area, outdoor lounge, and pool. Design for Change is accredited by the Joint Commission and accepts most private insurance.
