The Meadowglade

The Meadowglade, located in Moorpark, California, specializes in providing comprehensive mental health care for individuals struggling with mental health issues and eating disorders. With a variety of evidence-based and holistic therapies, The Meadowglade offers individualized treatment plans geared to address each person’s unique needs. Therapies include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), emotional intelligence therapy, coping skills for mood regulation, anger reduction therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), stress reduction therapy, conflict resolution and boundaries therapy, family group therapy, multi-family therapy, medical nutrition therapy, meal support therapy, nutrition counseling, and body image therapy. To meet the needs of non-English-speaking clients, the facility also provides translation services.

The Meadowglade additionally offers an array of life skills and experiential therapies such as mindful exploration, positive psychology, self-development group, life skills, daily goal planning, career counseling, art therapy, reading groups, poetry, yoga therapy, dance, mediation therapy, music therapy, comedy/improv, aquatic therapy, horticulture, and fitness. Optional housing is available on a 24-acre estate of rolling hills, secret gardens, avocado groves, fruit orchards, and sprawling pastures. The Meadowglade is CARF-accredited.
