Crownview Co-Occurring Institute is an evidence-based, personalized treatment provider for individuals with mental health issues and substance abuse. It has a four-component approach to treatment: psychotherapy, life skills, work skills, and case management. Clients are assigned an individual therapist to help them identify their issues and decide the best method of treatment, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), milieu therapies, and more. Additionally, clients are taught skills for independent living, such as housekeeping, time management, nutrition, and financial planning; and vocational training, such as motivational interviewing, mock interviews, and workshops. Throughout the entire process, each client is assigned a case manager to design and coordinate the treatment plan, continually evaluating client needs and transforming weaknesses into strengths.
