Blue Tiger Recovery

Blue Tiger Recovery is a Joint Commission-accredited full-service sex addiction, trauma, and substance addiction recovery center for men and their partners located in Palm Springs, California. Founded in 2013, Blue Tiger Recovery offers a range of evidence-based treatment services, such as their 3-week sex addiction boot camp, Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization (PHP), an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and an Outpatient Program (OP). Blue Tiger Recovery employs modern treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Somatic Experiencing to address mental health, trauma, shame, chemical dependency, and substance abuse. They also provide referrals to nearby detoxification facilities for clients who require it. The facility offers 12-Step programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Sex Addicts Anonymous (SAA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA), Sexual Compulsive Anonymous (SCA), Recovering Couples Anonymous (RCA), and Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) meetings, as well as SMART Recovery meetings. Blue Tiger Recovery also has programs specifically designed to address the needs of the LGBTQ+ community. Blue Tiger Recovery’s 3-week sex addiction boot camp is a trauma-focused treatment program using Somatic Experiencing. It is covered by select insurance providers, such as Tricare, Medicare, Inland Empire Health Plan, and Anthem Bluecross Blueshield. During their stay, participants in the boot camp have the opportunity to partake in weekly outings, such as equine therapy, visiting Joshua Tree National Park, and taking the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.
