Reset Summer Camp’s goal is to provide a residential digital detox program for teens and young adults who are struggling with internet addiction, helping them to regain balance and rediscover joy in activities outside of digital consumption. When first arriving, campers experience a 3-week detox from all electronics (aside from approved MP3 players) to start the program. During this time, they live in college dorms with roommates, building accountability, and learning life skills with 1-on-1 and group therapy sessions. Beyond the detox, campers enjoy STEAM activities, white-water rafting, zip-lining, surfing, wilderness hiking, and archery, while also developing their confidence. Family members can even join during the family weekend for educational courses. Finally, Reset provides an aftercare program to ensure long-term success, with continued contact to make sure that the skills gained during camp are still being used.
