In 2019, the Eating Recovery Center of Denver (ERC) was established to meet the growing need for intensive eating disorder treatment. The center provides full inpatient services, residential services, and an Intensive Treatment Unit (ITU) to support more severely affected patients. At ERC Denver, patients are given the tools to overcome their fear of food and nutrition through supportive mealtime guidance and educational balanced nutrition classes. The center’s residential program is designed for those who no longer need the same level of medical support, but still need 24/7 observation and assistance. Behavioral therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Remediation Therapy (CRT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and experiential therapies like art therapy, psychodrama, mindfulness, and movement and yoga, are used to empower growth and positive change. Nestled in the Rocky Mountains, the 62,000 square-foot facility features 72 semi-private bedrooms with an abundance of natural light and outdoor views. Eating Recovery Center of Denver is accredited by the Joint Commission and accepts most private insurance.
