Harmony Foundation

Harmony Foundation, founded in 1969 by a group of men wanting to help those struggling with alcoholism, is a nonprofit organization and residential treatment center based in the Rocky Mountains outside Estes Park, Colorado. They have gender-specific residences that can accommodate up to 80 people and offer several evidence-based therapies, such as bio-psycho-social and 12-step modalities, along with medical evaluation, detox, recommitment to recovery, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), harmony recovery support groups, and a family program. Clients are immersed in the healing power of the mountains while having access to special LGBTQ+ groups and meetings, as well as nutritional meals prepared by an on-site kitchen staff. Harmony Foundation is accredited by CARF but does not accept Medicaid or Medicare, although they do accept most insurance providers. Donations are accepted for a scholarship fund to help with some of the admission costs.
