Blue Sky Behavioral Health provides a range of services for individuals struggling with alcohol and substance addiction and co-occurring mental illnesses. An intense outpatient program, upgraded therapy program, and supportive independent living with case management and life skills training are available. Treatment requires clients to attend sessions Monday through Friday (PHP), and clients can access transportation to attend therapy, shopping, and other essential excursions. Upon admission, clients are drug tested and given a tailored plan that includes a life coach who is accessible 24/7 to provide emotional and practical help with daily activities, such as paying bills and looking for work. Medication management is available for those requiring dual diagnosis support. Treatment typically lasts 30 days and incorporates evidence-based therapeutic therapies, including 12-Step facilitation, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), group and individual therapy, motivational interviewing (MI), eye movement reprocessing and desensitization (EMDR), rational emotive behavior (REB), and exposure response prevention (ERP). Blue Sky Behavioral Health is accredited by CARF and accepts most forms of insurance. For those needing housing, off-site residential homes and apartments are available. Clients sleep in semi-private or private rooms, with men and women living separately. All necessary furniture is provided, and on-site laundry is available. Clients are responsible for buying their own food, and they are given the money for groceries or can go shopping with a life coach and roommates. Meal planning and healthy eating advice are also offered.
