At Center for Discovery Fairfield, the highest level of residential care is offered for women and non-binary adults 18 and older struggling with eating disorders. This program is led by the director, who has been an advocate for a well-rounded and high standard of care since the center’s inception. The residential program provides structure and psychotherapy in a variety of approaches, from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to Yoga Therapy. Clients also partake in five to six hours of individual, group, and family therapy, mealtimes, and group social events each day, as well as additional relapse prevention skills and life skills training. Furthermore, free online eating disorder support groups are available. All of this is provided at the scenic location on Long Island Sound in Fairfield, Connecticut.
