Nestled in the Floridian countryside, Transformations at Mending Fences provides residential and partial hospitalization programs (PHP) to promote the emotional, physical, and mental wellness of veterans and first responders suffering from substance use disorder and/or co-occurring mental health challenges. The campus covers more than 400 acres and boasts private and semi-private rooms, a firepit, music studio, yoga room, shared TVs, access to nature, a swimming pool, and horse stables. Transformations offers a variety of therapeutic evidence-based treatments such as EMDR, dialectical behavioral therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy, medication-assisted treatment, experiential therapies including music therapy, recreation therapy, art therapy, and adventure therapy, and specialized group therapies such as managing guilt and shame, LGBTQIA+, nutrition, trauma, self-esteem, and a family program. In addition, Transformations at Mending Fences features equine therapy on its expansive rural campus. Joint Commission accredited, it is located in beautiful Northern Florida and accepts a variety of both private and public insurances.
