Clementine Palmetto Bay is a residential care facility located near Miami, Florida, providing treatment for adolescent girls ages 13-17 who are struggling with different types of eating disorders. The center provides bright and modern facilities, a yoga studio, education center, and therapy spaces to equip adolescents with healthy skills to replace their eating disorder. Clients are able to attend fun activities like jewelry making, pottery, dance classes, games, movement sessions, and movie nights, as well as off-site trips such as restaurants and grocery store visits, museum trips, or bowling outings.
Clementine provides evidence-based therapies, family involvement, and academic support for clients with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, exercise dependency, ARFID, ORED, and diabulimia, as well as co-occurring disorders such as substance use, trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and mood and personality disorders. They offer nutrition and cooking groups, life skills training, 1-on-1 therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, group, and family therapy, and medical and psychiatric care. They also provide academic and nutritional guidance, as well as weekly family therapy (on-site or remotely) or a weekly multi-family group (on-site). Clementine Palmetto Bay is Joint Commission accredited and accepts both private and public insurance providers.
