Detox typically lasts 5-7 days and is supported by medication-assisted treatment to ease withdrawal symptoms. Residential care is a 24/7 round-the-clock program with access to medical doctors, nurses, and medication along with individual and group therapy. After detox, clients can enroll in the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), offering group and one-on-one counseling sessions with on-site help for life skills such as job searching, scheduling, and keeping up with 12-Step meetings. Amenities include a full gym, pool tables, game consoles, and a surround-sound movie theater. Additionally, Aspen Behavioral provides transportation for daily activities and weekly recovery meetings. Examples include trips to the beach, mini golf, and local parks.
