Safety Net is dedicated to helping men with substance use disorders lead a sober and independent life. Offering 54 beds and 12 live-in staff members, the drug- and alcohol-free recovery apartments provide a safe haven for those in transition from a more structured treatment program.
Residents are required to attend community meetings, life skill groups, relapse prevention counseling, mindfulness training, and 1-on-1 counseling sessions. Drug testing is also mandatory, as well as a 6-month stay length commitment. To ensure long-term success, each man must be actively engaged in a job, school, or volunteer service work.
Safety Net’s furnished living spaces feature amenities such as TVs, internet, and washers/dryers. Furthermore, the facility offers a range of recreational activities, including a tennis court, pool, and outdoor grilling area. Bedding and linens are also provided.
