Atlanta Recovery Place provides a comprehensive range of services designed to assist those struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions. Special programs tailored to the needs of professionals, executives, veterans, and college students are available, as well as gender-specific tracks and LGBTQ+ sensitive care. The Partial Hospitalization (PHP) program includes a variety of medical and psychological therapies such as individual and family counseling, group therapy, neurofeedback, relapse prevention, life skills, anger management, mindfulness, 12-Step facilitation, and medicated assistance. Patients also receive access to recreational activities such as swimming, gym time, and tennis court rentals. In addition, clients may participate in animal, music, art, and yoga therapy. Treatment plans typically last between 30 and 90 days, depending on the individual’s needs. The Intensive Outpatient (IOP) program is offered as part of PHP and meets for 3 hours a day, either in the morning or the evening. This program shares many of the same evidence-based and experiential therapies as PHP, and is designed to help individuals fully recover.
