About The Walker Center

Since 1976, the Walker Center has been helping individuals in Gooding, Idaho to overcome addiction and lead healthier lives. As a non-profit organization, they offer evidence-based addiction treatment with a full continuum of care, including residential and two levels of outpatient programs. The treatment plans are tailored to each individual client’s needs, and the program employs a structured format with weekly focuses on topics such as the medical model of addiction, relapse prevention, long-lasting change, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Furthermore, the Walker Center provides medication-assisted treatment to assist with the detox process, as well as a family program with two to three scheduled visits during residential treatment.
