Moonlight Mountain Recovery is a quiet center providing specialized care for men and women struggling with alcohol and drug addiction, dual diagnosis, and opiate addiction. The center incorporates evidence-based therapies, holistic treatment, individual and group therapy sessions, and experiential activities such as AA meetings, equine therapy, yoga, and meditation. Treatment follows the 12-Step principles and evidence-based therapy methods such as motivational enhancement therapy (MET), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Clients receive intimate care with a 3 to 1 client to staff ratio and are encouraged to stay for 90 days; the minimum stay is 30 days.
The 2-story single family home provides private and semi-private rooms, a small private theater, living room with fireplace, workout room, and a spacious backyard with covered patio and seating area. Clients are served 3 balanced and nutritious meals a day in the dining room and have access to a 24-hour crisis hotline with admissions specialist. The center is accredited by the Joint Commission and accepts most major insurances, including Medicaid.
