About Carbondale Counseling

At Carbondale Counseling Associates, located in a friendly suburban neighborhood in Southern Illinois, we specialize in personalized, creative, and imaginative therapy that promotes personal growth and transformation in a calming environment. We are proud to be part of a client’s journey to healing and wellness, whether that includes a chronic condition like autism or a mental health issue, or a more acute condition such as a recent tragedy or bereavement.

To help our clients reach their goals, we use a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Play Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Our standard 50-minute session is charged at $180 before insurance.
