Embark at Greenwood Village offers specialized mental health and addiction treatment services for adolescents and young adults aged 9-18 and their families. The highest level of care offered is their partial hospitalization program (PHP), a therapeutic day program that engages teens in individual and group therapy, 1-on-1 attention from teachers and tutors, and school credit transfer services. This program is designed for young people who are experiencing addiction and acute psychiatric symptoms that are difficult to manage, yet don’t require 24-hour care. Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), individual coaching and counseling, group and family therapy sessions, and experiential therapies are all utilized. Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) is a lesser level of care that is similar to PHP, but with evening sessions to accommodate work and school schedules. Patients can receive individualized treatments that include trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), and SMART Recovery addiction treatment. There is also a virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP) available for more accessible care. Following IOP, continued 1-on-1 therapy sessions are an option. Embark utilizes a trauma-informed approach to treat several mental health and behavioral disorders such as borderline personality disorder (BPD), bipolar disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, anxiety, eating disorders, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), reactive attachment disorder (RAD), gaming addiction, and substance misuse and addiction.
