At Greater Boston Addiction Centers (GBAC), we strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for our clients to heal and recover from addiction. We offer a variety of treatment options, including Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP, day or evening), Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) to help ease withdrawal symptoms. Our treatment modalities emphasize cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness to help reframe and reshape thinking patterns.
In addition to offering typical treatment services, we also provide an inclusive environment for women, men, and LGBTQ clients. We use trauma-informed approaches and offer psychoeducation to patients and their families to help them learn more about their addiction, triggers, and relapse prevention. We also provide an employee assistance program to support clients who need to take time off from work to focus on their recovery.
At GBAC, clients can learn new life skills, build a sober community, and reconnect with loved ones in family therapy. We also specialize in treating co-occurring mental health conditions such as bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, anxiety, depression, and process addictions. Our team is dedicated to helping clients find the emotional healing they need for a committed, successful recovery.
