Greenville Transitions provides a unique treatment approach to addiction recovery, combining evidence-based therapy with adventure activities in an outpatient setting. Intensive outpatient care (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), and outpatient programming are provided with varying intensity. PHP requires the most commitment with 3-day weekly sessions, while IOP is a structured program designed to help ease transition to an outside recovery network. Outpatient programs represent a step down from IOP, with individual and group therapy tapering to a 3-hour-per-week schedule. All levels of care focus on the whole person, addressing mind, body, and spirit. Adventure therapy is a key element, helping clients shift addictive tendencies to healthier activities such as hiking, mountain biking, paintball, top golf, yoga, and more.
