Their brand-new, 82-bed inpatient program is designed to help over 25,000 individuals and their families, and is open to youths 11 years and older and adults of all genders who have been diagnosed with any type of eating disorder. Walden has developed several programs that cater to specific needs, including the LGBTQIA+ community, competitive athletes, clients with binge eating disorders, and the Jewish community with a B’SHALOM program. In addition, they offer 1-on-1 treatment with mental health counselors, nurses, nutritionists, and psychologists. Their facility also includes a single room with natural light, a teaching kitchen, a full culinary staff, and special spaces for music and art therapy. As a Monte Nido Affiliate, Walden Center for Recovery has numerous facilities throughout Georgia, Massachusetts, and Connecticut that offer residential, intensive outpatient, and virtual outpatient aftercare services.
