Townsend Recovery Detox and Drug Rehab Center

Avenues Recovery Townsend is a residential treatment facility located in the heart of New Orleans. Its primary focus is medical stabilization and its comprehensive clinical residential treatment program. The goal of Avenues Recovery is to treat clients’ physical, mental, and spiritual needs holistically, providing individualized care as clients progress. Life skills, wellness, nutrition, social acceptance, financial responsibility, and family values are all components of the treatment, complemented by individual counseling, group therapy, 12-Step facilitation, yoga, outdoor activities, and more. The facility is situated on the 5th floor of New Orleans East Hospital, a state-of-the-art building constructed after hurricane Katrina, and features clean and modern accommodations. Clients at Avenues Recovery Townsend can access local transportation, nightly 12-Step meetings, gourmet catered meals, recreational facilities, fitness instruction, and fun evening and weekend activities. The rehab center is accredited by CARF and the Joint Commission and accepts most private insurance.
