About Bloom A Place for Girls

A Place for Girls offers a faith-based, residential care program to support teen girls ages 12 to 17 and their families. This 3-5 month program provides a secure, home-like setting to give young women the chance to find assistance, hope, and independence. The curriculum encourages inward growth and healing and includes Life Skills Training, Biblical Counseling, and 24/7 care. A Place for Girls understands the unique issues that contemporary teenage females experience, and is one of only two short-term residential treatment facilities in the nation with an exclusive focus on teenage girls. Treatment for co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, and other life-controlling issues is provided, as well as individual, group, and family counseling with a Biblical Counselor. Young women graduate from A Place for Girls with a better sense of self, a passion for life, and life skills, and a strong, inspiring connection to The Lord.
