About Cambridge Eating Disorder Center

The Cambridge Eating Disorder Center (CEDC) is a Joint Commission accredited treatment center located in the heart of historic Harvard Square. Their 37-bed facility offers personalized and age-specific care, tailored to the individual needs of adult women, young adults, and adolescent girls (ages 12 and older). CEDC utilizes evidence-based methods such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), medication-assisted treatment, nutritional guidance, group therapy, and academic support for adolescents. They offer treatment for common eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating, in a comfortable and inspiring environment with modern kitchens, lounge areas, and creative spaces. CEDC accepts both private and public insurances.
