Established in 1913, Gould Farm is a dynamic multigenerational community dedicated to helping people, 18 or older, with mental health issues including depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. With a mission to help their guests reconnect with themselves and nature, they strive to create a warm, family-like atmosphere. Each guest has their own private room and is supported 24/7 by a range of specialists, such as social workers, residential advisors, work team leaders, transition counselors, consulting psychiatrists, and nursing office staff. Located on 700 acres of rolling farmland, guests enjoy engaging in activities like hiking, gardening, sports, animal care, tapping trees for syrup, and baking bread. These outdoor activities are strategically incorporated into the daily routines, allowing clinical care, which is no longer limited to a certain time constraint, to be part of the process of healing.
