About Hacienda del Lago

For more than 27 years, Hacienda del Lago has been providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment for substance use disorder, codependency, and gambling. On-site physicians consult with clients daily and provide 24/7 nursing care in addition to licensed substance abuse therapists and social workers. The residential program usually lasts for 30 days and includes 12-Step facilitation, individual therapy, family counseling, group therapy, equine assisted coaching, educational classes, and relaxation therapy. The beautiful setting and holistic approach of this facility provide a unique recovery experience. Located near Jalisco, Mexico, this Spanish home offers serene gardens, comfortable accommodations, an on-site pool, and a caring staff. After finishing the program, clients continue to receive support with 6-12 months of aftercare plans, and the team at Hacienda del Lago keep in touch with them for a year.
