Advanced Rapid Detox

Advanced Rapid Detox (ARD) offers a rapid detoxification process designed to provide relief from withdrawal symptoms. This procedure begins with the client being given IV sedation to help them sleep through their withdrawal while a doctor administers medication to counteract the effects of opiates on the body’s receptors. Once the detox is complete, clients are moved to private rooms to receive their first Vivitrol injection—an opiate-blocker that helps reduce cravings. During their stay, clients benefit from round-the-clock care provided by a team of highly trained medical professionals who specialize in opiate detoxification. This team monitors clients closely to ensure a safe recovery. After resting for a day, clients meet with the doctor one last time to discuss follow-up care and then they are able to go home or to another level of care. All clients are eligible to take advantage of ARD’s detox-related aftercare program.
