Granite Recovery Centers

Granite Recovery Centers is a CARF accredited treatment center that has a long history of transforming the lives of people struggling with substance use disorder. They provide a comprehensive range of services – from medical detox to intensive outpatient care – with evidence-based therapeutic psychotherapies and a 12-Step program. Granite Recovery has two residential treatment centers, Green Mountain Treatment Center in Effingham and New Freedom Academy in Canterbury, with each providing a 30-day program focused on addressing the root cause of addiction. Services include individual and group counseling, recreational therapy, yoga, mindfulness, and trauma-based therapy, in an environment where cell phones and electronic devices are forbidden. Both campuses offer comfortable accommodation in scenic surroundings – Green Mountain sits on 72-acres of rolling hills and New Freedom is nestled amongst the trees in a quiet area.
