Harbor MAT is an outpatient program that offers same-day treatment for people struggling with opioid and heroin addiction. Their experienced staff of doctors, nurses, and counselors develop customized, evidence-based and holistic treatment plans to fight opioid addiction, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and individual or group therapies. MAT consists of two medications: Methadone, a long-acting synthetic opioid taken orally in liquid form to alleviate physical symptoms of opiate withdrawal; and Suboxone, taken as a sublingual film. Harbor MAT also provides individual, group, or family counseling, as well as HIV case management for individuals who need it. Any person over the age of 18, and pregnant women, can access treatment.
