Behavioral Crossroads is a Kosher rehab center based in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. Their mission is to assist individuals struggling with substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health conditions. They provide medical detox, medication assisted therapies, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) for mental health and substance abuse care. Additionally, they offer sober living home in the heart of the New Jersey Pinelands for those in the Jewish community. Crossroads also has specialty tracks that address anger management, sexual addiction, justice involved recovery, and a family support program.
Their door-to-door transportation services are available for those in Atlantic County and the surrounding counties. They provide round trip transportation for clients from other counties who would like to attend the program as well.
Clients can benefit from 10 hours a week of treatment which includes individual counseling, 12-Steps philosophy, and evidence-based therapies. Their mental health partial care services are designed for adults who need more help than what is provided in outpatient therapy, but who don’t require 24-hour hospitalization. In addition, Crossroads provides therapeutic day treatment programs to help individuals with psychiatric related issues.
At their sober living home, Kosher Recovery, the campus has a fully stocked kosher kitchen, shul, and fitness programming. Rabbi Avi Richler is the campus spiritual advisor and is available to all clients. There is also a full schedule of activities conducive to the resident’s recovery including, but not limited to, a fitness program, 12-Step meetings, and support groups. Crossroads focuses on more than just the drug addiction itself, they study all aspects of life to find the root cause of addiction. Their experienced addiction counselors understand the common challenges and obstacles that clients face. Gender-specific housing is available for up to 90 days.
