Clementine Briarcliff Manor is an evidence-based treatment program for adolescent girls and their families addressing eating disorders. With clear markers of progress, clients are empowered to set their own goals while receiving support from medical doctors, nurses, psychologists, nutritionists, and yoga instructors. Located in a quiet residential area in New York, the facility provides accommodations similar to a retreat and engaging activities such as yoga, dance, movie nights, crafting, jewelry making, and pottery classes. The program utilizes evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), while also providing relapse prevention techniques, life skills development, and exposure therapy. Clients have the opportunity to build self-esteem and practice relaxation and mediation. Clementine is Joint Commission accredited and accepts most private insurance, resulting in its successful treatment rate.
