Long Island Center for Recovery (LICR) is a specialized treatment facility founded in 1995 by Jack Hamilton. Situated in the picturesque Hampton Bay of New York, this center offers a comprehensive range of addiction services including detox and inpatient rehab. Specialty program services include first responders and military, LGBTQ pride, gamblers anonymous, union labor, and women’s groups. The facility provides individualized treatment plans which combine traditional methods with holistic approaches such as yoga, meditation, sound therapy, Reiki, and equine therapy. Treatment strategies also include Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), 12-Step facilitation, trauma-specific therapy, and recreational therapy. LICR houses 50 beds in separate wings for men and women, providing comfortable living quarters with bedrooms, shared bathrooms, lounge areas, and gardens with a fishpond. Meals are prepared by in-house chefs. Clients have access to quality care and unique therapeutic services, enabling them to pursue lasting recovery.
