Real Recovery

At Real Recovery, located in the southern Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, young adults ages 18-28 can find help for addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. Their Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) includes individual and group therapy, supervised personal reflection time, and recreational therapy, yoga, meditation, and equine-assisted therapy. The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a smooth transition from PHP, with 9 hours of group therapy and 1 hour of individual therapy each week. During treatment, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness Therapy are used, and Real Recovery helps clients develop life skills, such as budgeting, home management, and employment assistance.
