Dilworth Center

Located in the heart of Charlotte’s historic Dilworth neighborhood, Dilworth Center provides comprehensive and affordable treatment for individuals and families impacted by alcoholism and drug addiction. An individual assessment is conducted to establish an initial treatment plan, and programming lasts 16 weeks for adults and families, and 18 weeks for adolescents. The treatment includes education, group and individual therapy, family programming, 12-Step groups, and additional programming for young adults and adolescents, which focuses on creating positive peer influences and building non-chemical coping mechanisms. Dilworth Center also provides specialized programming for professionals, such as pilots, dentists, nurses, and attorneys, helping them to balance recovery, career, and other regulatory requirements. The Center works together with employers, employee assistance programs, and regulatory and advocacy boards to ensure sustained recovery.
