Solstice East is a private, CARF-accredited residential facility in Weaverville, North Carolina, providing specialized support to adolescents (ages 14-17) struggling with trauma, loss, and addictive behaviors. Their comprehensive approach integrates trauma-focused interventions, such as trauma-focused CBT, equine therapy, EMDR, DBT, somatic experiencing, and brainspotting, with family therapy, nutrition, exercise, and academics. Adventure therapy is another integral part of their program, including activities such as hiking, paddle-boarding, camping, and mountain biking. The 25-acre campus sits amid the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains and features a large school building, indoor gym, outdoor pool, a pond, and horses. Clients also have access to a variety of recreational activities, such as backpacking, horseback riding, canoeing, whitewater rafting, and hiking. Solstice East is private pay only.
