Recovery Works Portage

This treatment facility, located inside Portage University Hospital, provides safe detoxification from drugs and alcohol. In addition to a withdrawal management program, individualized counseling, aftercare coordination and long-term recovery planning are available with a more extensive residential program. Common treatment methods include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), substance abuse education, 1-on-1 and group therapy, anger management, grief and loss therapy, life skills, motivational enhancement therapy (MET), and relapse prevention counseling. Additionally, music therapy, physical therapy and yoga are offered as holistic approaches.
