First Step Recovery

First Step Recovery helps patients achieve their recovery goals with customizable detox and residential treatment options. Their addiction-trained medical staff monitor patients throughout the detox process 24/7. After detox, clients enter their residential treatment program, which uses cognitive-behavioral therapy, group counseling, individual counseling, and recreational therapy to treat substance use and mental health disorders. They also specialize in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, which can reduce symptoms of depression.

First Step takes a holistic approach to ensure each patient receives the best care possible. Gender-specific counseling helps foster an environment of trust, while 12-Step meetings offer fellowship and motivation. Patients also have access to life skills education, yoga, fitness classes, meditation, and mindfulness training. After completing residential treatment, First Step works with Travco Behavioral Health to provide support in an outpatient setting.
