Mountain Laurel Recovery Center is an accredited 20,000 square foot modernized estate situated on 25 acres near the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. This residential program offers 36 beds for men and women seeking short or long term treatment for their alcohol and drug addictions and co-occurring mental health disorders. Mountain Laurel Recovery Center follows an evidence-based 12-Step and holistic approach to recovery and utilizes services and practices such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and individual, group and family therapy. Clients are provided with personalized detoxification programs if they have opiate, alcohol or benzodiazepine dependencies. A 1 to 2 ratio of therapists to clients is enforced and is provided with a full medical staff. All major insurances are accepted and online verification forms are available. Private and semi-private rooms are available without an additional fee and meals are prepared and served by an executive chef. Clients are also encouraged to exercise, take part in yoga and meditate in order to achieve physical and mental recovery. The general cost for a 30 day stay with detox is $18,000 and without detox it is $15,000.
