About Calderglen House

Set in a quiet, rural location just a short drive away from Glasgow, Scotland, Calderglen House is a residential treatment program that specializes in evidence-based addiction and mental health care. They use a holistic approach to healing, providing cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), mindfulness, yoga, problem-solving, and coping skills. Additionally, patients receive care for co-occurring health concerns, chronic pain management, and support to optimize physical health through fitness, sleep, and nutrition. To complement their evidence-based treatments, patients also participate in recreational activities, such as gardening, fishing, animal care, yoga, and furniture making on the estate’s spacious grounds. With its historic charm dating back to the 1700s, the Calderglen estate provides residents with the perfect environment to focus on their recovery in peace and comfort.
