Cumberland Heights, located just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1966. This alcohol and drug addiction treatment center offers residential, detox, and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) with evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as DBT, CBT, motivational interviewing, family systems work, and 12-step facilitation. Self-pay pricing for residential and IOP services includes a $750 per day rate for detox, a $22,500 to $750 per day rate for residential, and a $200 per day rate for IOP, with varying rates for adult extended care.
Cumberland Heights has gender- and age-specific programs, boasting 15 outpatient recovery centers and 2 12-step immersion campuses. The center allows up to 95 clients for the male and female adults programs, with shared accommodations. Amenities include a gym and game room on alternating days based on gender and age, a music room, yoga studio, hiking, art activities, a climbing wall, and a ropes course. Outings in the area are also permitted, such as NHL Predator and minor league baseball games.
