Active Recovery Men

Active Recovery offers a supportive living environment for individuals in the process of transitioning from active substance use to active recovery. At their recovery apartments, clients benefit from access to various exercise programs, including gym equipment on-site, local YMCA membership, and personal training sessions. As part of their program, house meetings, chores, occasional drug testing, and local excursions to the Austin area are organized. Clients also have access to shared bedrooms, home-like living spaces, internet, TVs, cook outs, and a large backyard area. To ensure that clients can take the utmost control of their wellbeing, each client receives a nutritionist exam at move-in. Exercise therapies, such as aerobics, weightlifting, stretching, and yoga, are provided to encourage a healthy lifestyle.
