Alpha 180

Alpha 180 is a comprehensive recovery program designed to help young men achieve a successful transition into sobriety. Through transitional housing, a sober clubhouse, clinical services, case management, life skills training, and an intensive outpatient program (IOP), Alpha 180 provides the necessary resources and support to give individuals the foundation to make long-term changes for a successful recovery. In addition to individual counseling, trauma-specific eye movement therapy (EMDR) and life skills development, Alpha 180’s Sober Clubhouse provides a safe and supportive environment where individuals in recovery can come together to build strong peer support systems. Residents can also take part in educational enrichment, like enrolling in coursework, with the help of a Personal Education Specialist. For a more light-hearted yet still sober experience, Alpha 180 also offers a variety of trips and activities around Texas for participants in the IOP program. From snowboarding in Taos, New Mexico to overnight trips to Galveston’s beaches, Alpha 180 provides many opportunities to show that sobriety can be fun and rewarding.
