The Eating Recovery Center Dallas provides evidence-based treatment for adults, adolescents, and children with eating disorders and mental health issues. Their treatment team is comprised of a psychiatrist, family clinician, dietitian, nurse, case manager, and other related patient support staff. The facility offers a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) that offers a full day of treatment 7 days a week, as well as an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that provides 3 hours of treatment per day, 3 days per week. Children and adolescents receive comprehensive educational support, including daily study time, a learning center, and a personal laptop for completing coursework. Licensed teachers provide academic support, including preliminary educational assessments, individual tutoring, and liaising with the student’s school. Experienced professionals also employ a number of therapeutic interventions, including family-centered treatment, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). The center’s IOP program helps foster a positive transition into activities of daily living for adults upon discharge from Residential or Partial Hospitalization programs.
