The Arbor

Located in the lush Texas countryside near the San Gabriel River, The Arbor is a CARF-accredited addiction and dual diagnosis treatment center striving to help clients and their families reach long-term recovery and emotional stability. The team at The Arbor consists of medical doctors, psychiatrists, nurses, addiction specialists, therapists, recovery managers, trainers, acupuncturists, yoga teachers, and massage therapists, all of whom join forces to provide an integrative, comprehensive care program that heals the mind, body, and spirit. The holistic and experiential therapies offered include equine therapy, art therapy, and physical fitness, and there is even a horse stable on-site. Clients typically stay at The Arbor for three to twelve months, during which personalized fitness and nutrition plans are implemented to promote physical restoration. In addition to the residential treatment program, The Arbor also offers an extensive family program, extended care, intensive outpatient care, advocacy services, independent living programs, a one-year chronic relapse program, and additional family support services. 12-Step facilitation is a part of all of their programs.
